Sat 12 April 8pm Railway Club - Members Notice Only
Chuck Farley
Taste of Chuck Farley who went down a storm at the club playing the music of Ry Cooder and Little Feat and much more.
Steves' past musical collaborations read like a "Who's Who" of great musicians and bands. From Joe Brown and Billie Jo Spears to the much missed Ronnie Lanes' Slim Chance, Steve went on to achieve further critical acclaim with Meal Ticket.
During his time with Meal Ticket, he worked alongside, Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, and Ry Cooders' Chicken Skin Music Band.
Some of his other musical associates include, Roger Chapman, Chris Farlowe, Maggie Bell, Eric Bibb and Amy Wadge
Band members include Malcolm Hoskins, ex-Little Sister, the GBs, etc. on bass, Mick Clews, ex-Little Sister, Blues Patrol, currently with the Peter Bruntnell Band and 14 Cousins, on drums, and myself on guitars, vocals, mandolin and fiddle. A completely moveable feast of music, light on it's feet and versatile, ranging from Leadbelly to Ray Charles, with stops along the way for Ry Cooder, Little Feat, Arlon Roth, Randy Newman, Hoagy Carmichael, Percy Sledge and my favourite influences!
